A Boston University graduate in Economics and Business Management, Mr. Abhyuday Jindal has wide-ranging experience across project management, supply chain systems, and strategic and general management. He currently serves as Managing Director of Jindal Stainless, India’s leading stainless steel manufacturer, which recorded a consolidated turnover of INR 42,955 crore (USD 4.86 billion) in FY’26. Mr Jinal is also Co-Chairman of CII's Corrosion Management Division and has previously served as President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Co- Chair of the Steel Committee at FICCI. He began his career with the JSW Group, where he played a prominent role in the stake acquisition of Ispat Industries and the post-acquisition integration of JSW and Ispat. He then moved to the Boston Consulting Group, managing project consultancy across cement, steel, wind turbines and auto components before joining Jindal Stainless. He has led efforts to improve the Jindal Stainless’ operational efficiencies, digital journey, and customer outreach to build a more dynamic, responsive, socially responsible and solution-based organisation. Under his stewardship, the company has established market leadership and developed the stainless steel ecosystem in the country, besides creating a competitive advantage in manufacturing special stainless steel grades for the nuclear and defence sectors. In 2025, he was named the winner in the ‘Urban Visionary’ category of the prestigious BT-PwC India’s Best CEOs list, following his 2024 recognition in the ‘Mid- sized Companies’ category of the same ranking. That year, he was also listed among Business World’s Most Valuable CEOs and featured in the Economic Times’ esteemed ‘ET 40 Under 40’. With a strong belief in an Aatmanirbhar India, his community-centric approach has supported several empowerment initiatives around Jindal Stainless’ production facilities. He personifies open, participative management and a consistent culture of dialogue and feedback.
