The Working Committee of the Indian Steel Association (ISA) acts as the consultative body for the smooth functioning of the Association. Each Apex Committee member nominates one representative from their firm to the Working Committee. The roles, responsibilities, and activities of the Working Committee are determined by the Apex Committee, to whom the Working Committee is accountable.

It is also entrusted with periodically reviewing issues, concerns, and challenges impacting the steel industry. The Committee also reviews and proposes ISA's annual budget and is authorized to form Committees on specific subjects.

The Working Committee meets several times during the year, to support and facilitate the effective functioning of ISA.
