The Procurement Committee identifies, both from within and outside the country (apart from China)- where refractories can be sourced when it is essential and to work out strategies to get these at competitive rates.

On the other hand, it acts as a nodal Committee where ISA and IRMA can collaborate, providing a platform to discuss the issues on supply chain and technology and thereby seeking solutions.
