Mission
ISA's mission is to stay at the forefront of all deliberations pertaining to matters of public policy, raw materials, international trade, logistics, environmental concerns, technology, health and safety and all other related aspects of steel making. It aims to collaborate with the government on all issues related to the steel sector, promote the use of steel, foster international collaboration, and communicate the viewpoints of its constituents to all stakeholders.

To create the best possible environment for Indian steel production and give a common voice to all major public and private steel enterprises in the country; to be the voice of the Indian steel industry both at national and international levels, and to represent an unflinching commitment to quality, productivity, competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability.
